Campari is a bitter Italian aperitif originally developed in 1860 by Gaspare Campari in Milan. It has a distinct red colour and Campari is a unique mix of herbs, aromatic fruit infused in alcohol and water which gives it its appealing bitter taste. Campari is often mixed with soda and ice, but it is also consumed without a mixer and used in some cocktails with an astringent, bittersweet flavour
