450G GOLDEN PENNY MARGARINE
Margarine is similar to butter but it contains no dairy. Even though they taste slightly different, some people often substitute between the two especially when baking and making cakes. Margarine is generally considered to be a healthier option to butter, so if you're health conscious, this option is better for you. With a silvery and shiny knife in one hand, and a soft, cream colored slice of bread in the other, what can you scoop to make the meal worthwhile...No need to guess or think too far because golden penny is another great choice among margarines. It is rich in the most essential of vitamins such as vitamin A, Vitamin D, Niacin, Folic acid, Vitamin B6 and B12. It has a slippery, semi solid texture and is great for cooking or as a topping. Margarines were originally formulated as a substitute for Butter. This happened in the 1860s after Napoleon III sponsored a contest to find a cheaper alternative to butter. This was because he had the interest of his soldiers and the French lower class in mind. While Butter is made from milk, margarine is made from vegetable oils. This is gives golden penny margarine its smooth, silky texture.
